Didn't take long before we tired of the Corn Palace so back on the road again. This time a stop in Sioux Falls was just what we needed to stretch our legs from being in the truck so long. This is City Park and it runs for miles along the river.

Mitchell South Dakota....corn country...and home to the "World's Only Corn Palace"...yup, corn palace.....The outside of the building is decorated in "corn" and they change it with the seasons. I can only imagine how long that takes.
First the cowboy hat and now a tractor.....Looks like he might be wanting to be a farmer....
Didn't take long before we tired of the Corn Palace so back on the road again. This time a stop in Sioux Falls was just what we needed to stretch our legs from being in the truck so long. This is City Park and it runs for miles along the river.
Back on the road we drove clear across Minnesota to a quaint town called "Lanesboro". Basically the entire trip across the state we drove alongside corn and soyabeans.....as far as the eye could see in every direction.

Well hello there, how goes the drive? Valane & I had Gracie out in the park today, she was so... happy to see Jackson and Pilsner. Hey my gas stocks are going up, keep up the good work. Don't be afraid to go off the beaten trail, I know I'm such an ass----. Love the pictures keep the batteries charged on that camera. Safe travels and we'll stay in touch.

We are trying as much as we can to stay off the busy Freeways, especially now that we are in TOLL country...We have met some amazing people and seen so many things its hard to believe we have only been gone 2 weeks. We just left the most beautiful area outside of Cleveland Ohio, could be our favourite part yet...
