We love the Napa Valley, the sun is shining, it is warm and the colours of fall are everywhere....We ventured out for a hike this morning...This is a picture of the road from the GPS.....

The drive up was just great...I was holding on for dear life, things were flying off the back seat..and I was trying to take pictures....and watch the road of course....it drives George crazy that I feel I also need to watch the road  as he drives...like I am doing my part in the driving process and keeping us safe...

The vineyards are so interesting as they wind up the hillside...

And even more amazing views on the hike...

We were headed to a place called Table Rock.....we found the lookout...

And we found a really neat labyrinth made out of rocks...

And whoever did this one, must be a happy person...

But we never found the actual Table Rock. The trail was so poorly marked, we walked around, and around, going down less-traveled trails, no signs anywhere as to which direction to  Table Rock....then having decided we didn't want to be one of  "those people who needed to be rescued from a mountain because of sheer stupidity" we headed back down and continued on a "clearly marked trail". We did have  food, water, even bear spray.....but no wine....We would never want to be caught dead in the Napa Valley without wine...now that would be just plain embarrassing wouldn't it?

Enjoyed a nice evening chatting with our RV park neighbours...and of course enjoying a glass or two of wine....the only way to finish of a day in the Napa Valley....
