Instead of being "storm chasers" we decided to be "warm chasers"....because we are NOT enjoying this cooler weather...we awoke in San Francisco to cold and fog and headed to the Napa Valley...wine country here we come...

 Because we knew we would be staying here in the warmer weather for a few days, we decided not to stop anywhere on the way and headed straight to our campsite in Calistoga, California. Found ourselves a great place right in town and decided to check out the area on foot...

Enjoyed a great lunch at an Italian Restaurant and thought it was time to go for a bike ride...

Happened upon this crazy metal sculpture of an old water delivery truck...complete with the best back seat driver....a dog...

The grapes are ripe and the leaves are changing colours....I had to sneak a taste of the grapes...wow...you can really taste the sugar in the wine grapes compared to table grapes...

Even the vineyards are decorating for the season...

It was nice and warm, which is what we were looking for, so we spent the afternoon riding our bikes around town enjoying the fall colours....

We absolutely love it here so are really looking forward to spending a few days relaxing before we head for home...
