Spent  a couple of days in the Black Hills area of South Dakota.  Mount Rushmore was our first stop, saw this when I was about 10 years old so was excited to see it again.
Funny thing about this place is you take so many pictures, just in case the first 20 don't work.... Yeah, we got lots of them but will only show you a few....

This next one is for my friends back at work who wanted to come with us but couldn't, so they came up with a really clever way of coming after all...
Then it was off to a small town called Custer, where "painted buffalo" seemed to be the theme of the town. Do you think the "locals" can tell we are "tourists"???

After such a long day of playing "tourist" we were tempted by the sound of an old time guitar player in the courtyard of a Pizza Place.  Turned out to be the best end to another day of our holidays....

And in a town called "Hill City, South Dakota", we found this for you Cal......Can you believe it???? I think it's just dandy....
And one more really neat thing in Hill City, a scrap metal sculptor who does some really neat stuff
