Then it was off to Sturgis South Dakota.  We arrived pretty early in the day but never too early to enjoy a "cold one" in the "Knuckle Saloon", the place is huge, I  believe our waitress said there is something like 13 bars in the place....can you image that during Rally??? scary...

No trip to South Dakota would be complete without a trip to "Wall Drug".  We must have seen hundreds of billboards along the highway for a good 30 miles before we even got to Wall Drug...advertising everything from "free ice water" to " 5 cent cups of coffee and of course the six foot Rabbit....crazy.

And of course what better time than to try on some Western Wear.....
 Hey there Pardner!!!

Enough of goofing around in the comfort of air conditioning, off to where it was really really hot, Badlands National Park....Such a sharp contrast in the landscape and boy oh boy was it hot...38 degrees. Thankfully we have air conditioning in the truck or we would be in big trouble.

Then no sooner do you leave the National Park and the landscape changes and we were driving for miles and miles amongst fields of sunflowers....
