Our second day in the Black Hills area of South Dakota we spent in a little town named Deadwood.

We toured around a "cemetery"......yes I  did say "cemetery".  Deadwood's historic "M. Moriah Cemetery" where the likes of "Wild Bill" Hickok and Calamity Jane are buried.

Then we spent the rest of the day and evening enjoying  "Kool Deadwood Nites".  This is a big event in town with a Classic Car Competition, Poker Run, Rod Run and various other hot rod events and free Concerts throughout town.  We walked around all day looking at cars, shopping, slipping into the casinos for a "cold one" and trying our luck at the slot machines, then back outside to listen to the music on the street.

And check out this character "Crown Royal Man"!!!!!  Yes, only in America...
And then back out to check out some more Classic Cars

This next truck was absolutely amazing, it started out as just another show truck but turned into a tribute to "Heroes".  Over 5 years of build time were invested including over 50,000 man hours of assembly and  over 1200 hours of airbrush artwork, truly amazing

We finished off the night with over 10,000 other people listening to  Paul Revere & The Raiders down main street in Deadwood.
