We really didn't want to leave Charleston so strung it out a little longer by getting up in the morning and heading to Folly Beach.  It is one of the very popular sandy beaches in this area.  With so many inter coastal waterways here there is lots of access to water just not always sandy beaches. Almost every major beach will have a boardwalk built and it will be lined with fishermen.

By noon, we decided to go back and hook up the trailer and try to get closer to Florida.  Made a quick drive through Savannah, Georgia, but it was a very busy day downtown so it was just too hard to try to find parking for the truck and trailer.  Beautiful old historic town, worth a stop next time.

We made a good choice to take a scenic route and went across this crazy bridge at Jekyll Island.  Here is a video someone took of it...

This picture I took from the internet because we were on and off the bridge so fast and could not pull over fast enough to get a really good picture of the structure of this bridge...CRAZY!!!

And then when you got to the top of it, the view was spectacular...again, hard to really capture the essence of it...If we could have, we would have gone back over that bridge again and again...It was something else!!!

Well, didn't get very far again today, and settled for the night at a small campsite in Woodbine Georgia, quaint little place with chickens running all over the place, and still hot and muggy and loving the air conditioning.
