After spending three days camping at the beach in Ventura, we had to finally move on.  It was hard because we know that the further north we go.....the colder it will be.  We have been in shorts since we left home on August 16th...average daily temperatures about 30 degrees, many days even warmer....even on the few rainy days it was hot...

We saw fog for the first time this morning. Our first stop of the day was Santa Barbara, only a half hour down the road.  When we arrived it was so foggy you couldn't see the ocean... love this RV....one-of-a-kind...
We waited for the fog to clear by doing some shopping downtown...very trendy area, lots of restaurants and bars, unique shops...easy place to spend a couple of hours...

Love these guys...
By the time we finished exploring downtown, the fog had cleared and we finally got to see the ocean...

Once we left Santa Barbara and headed inland, we saw lots of agriculture..strawberries,blueberries, and miles and miles and miles of grapes...

It was still really hot out.....until we headed to the ocean at Pismo Beach....the temperature dropped from over 30 degrees to 16 degrees at 3:30 in the afternoon....cold and the fog was back.....it was gloomy....

We found a not-so-nice campground, for a not-so-nice price, and as we were both walking around grumbling away, complaining to each other about everything, we realized the change of weather was to blame for our "gloomy moods".....with each passing day the hot sunny days of our journey will be just a memory....
