We drove through Fort Lauderdale, and it didn't take us long to stop at another beach to enjoy a walk in the sand and the waves...

And of course watch all the crazy little birds, they are absolutely everywhere...always busy digging something out of the sand to eat..

And now that we are back at the ocean, we are also back to the intercoastal waterways and the mansions and yachts...

More amazing homes and yachts..yes that is actually a single family dwelling...crazy stuff

Enough of the the amazing homes and yachts, the city itself was gorgeous with all the waterways, the amazing buildings and the impeccable landscaping.

From Fort Lauderdale to Miami, the scenery remained much the same, gorgeous.  The city of Miami was very impressive.  It was so clean and the landscaping was also amazing.  Even the more modest areas showed a "pride of ownership"...

Check this out...they actually constructed the building around the metro line.

At times it was a little tight driving an RV right through downtown Miami (and for George it was also hard having a backseat driver sitting beside him while he was driving an RV in downtown Miami!!!), but we made it.

 It really was a nice city that we will visit again someday.

Then it was off to the Florida Keys...but not before we discovered the next "American's Worst Driver"...Oh Boy....she was BAD!!! She could not keep her car between the lines for more than 10 seconds, it was brutal...and she wasn't texting, or on the phone or even drunk..she was just plan BAD!!

It was bridge after bridge after bridge connecting us to each of the "Keys"...

We stayed in Long Key which was about half way to the end at Key West. We went beachcombing and discovered this moon jellyfish, very cool.

Then we enjoyed a peaceful night relaxing with a glass of wine listening to the ocean at our doorstep..and the end to another beautiful night in Florida...
