Spent the day in Charleston, what a gorgeous town, everything we thought it would be and more.  We brought our bikes and spent hours and hours riding around looking at the houses and the downtown area.

Each house was so unique and the gardens and entrance ways were so gorgeous...you could almost imagine yourself living there...

There was an area that even had old cobblestone roads...a little tough to ride on, but nice to look at

And not far from downtown was the Marina where we spent some time enjoying the views

And the downtown area was full of activity, open-aired tour buses, bikes, shoppers and even a store clerk playing a banjo outside of a funky hat shop..
And of course beautiful old Churches...
And some with a sense of humour...

And after we enjoyed looking at the boats at one of the other marinas a little way off the beaten path, we were fortunate enough to stumble across this place....nothing fancy but $4.50 for two ice cold bottles of Bud....Now you're talking...and add a little live music to that, we just couldn't resist staying for a couple more cold ones...
And someone else with a sense of humour...
And after a leisurely bike ride back to where we parked the truck,  we relaxed a little and enjoyed the scenery and the breeze..
