So at 2:40 am.....yes am., we woke to the alarm, made coffee and then went outside on the dock to watch the launch of Atlas 5 Rocket which was transporting a satellite into space.  It rained and we waited..... the wind blew and we waited......and it rained some more and we waited....  and waited until just after 4:00 a.m.....then it happened....

Then we saw the most amazing thing ever....we heard what we thought was a Harley on the bridge and then shortly after we just saw this amazing bright light...and it went higher and higher, no real sound for the first several seconds, then we heard it, it was so loud.  After a  while, you could see it going further and further, it got quieter and quieter and then we heard this "poof" and it disappeared.....freaking amazing stuff....

We didn't have a chance to video it so I have attached a youtube video someone took which shows exactly what we saw...and I think you would have heard us say the very same things...
